Today we had a bit of a sleep in, before our day out on the boat. We drove for around 50 minutes to the port town of Kekova where we were departing from. The boat was meant to be a traditional Gulet. The boat had a nice covered deck with seating and a partly covered roof with sunbeds.
Not long after departing, we were stopping for our first swim. The water was an amazing turquoise blue colour and very clear and warm which made it beautiful for swimming in.
The second stop had some ruins on shore. Mostly just remaining walls from houses. At the third stop we had a wonderful lunch of bbq meat and other homemade food. The boat was run by a husband and wife and their young daughter was on board too. He prepared the bbq off the back of the boat and cooked while she served the other food.
Our 4th stop another cove like area. More swimming! On the way we saw parts of the Sunken city of Kekova and some ruins through the glass bottom of the boat.
Near the end we cruised past a village on an island with a Castle on top of hill and more tombs.
Tonight we had a group dinner at a local restaurant, then looked at more shops!
